Thompson Coburn's new Lobbying & Policy group registered to lobby for its first three clients in March, a flurry of activity that spurred coverage by the Blog of the LegalTimes and Politico. The clients include Overstock.com, semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics Inc., and the Association for Information Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education (ACUTA). Lobbying & Policy Chair Ken Salomon is a member of ACUTA's Industry Advisory Committee and a featured speaker at the organization's April 14-17 annual conference in San Diego.

The March 13 post on the Blog of the LegalTimes, "Thompson Coburn's New Lobby Shop Gets Busy," detailed the group's plans to begin lobbying efforts for additional clients, including the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA).

That same day, the blog article was the top headline in the National Law Journal's LegalTimes Afternoon Update, an e-newsletter that goes out to more than 39,000 subscribers.
