Ken Salomon to discuss Higher Education Act developments at San Diego conference

Thompson Coburn Lobbying & Policy Chair Ken Salomon will discuss the status of the Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act at an April meeting of technology leaders in higher education.

Salomon will present, "Congressional Developments on the Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act" at the April 14-17 annual conference of ACUTA, the Association for Information Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education.

On Feb. 22, Salomon will also attend a meeting of the nine-member Advisory Group of the Center for Intellectual Property at the University of Maryland University College. Salomon has served for many years as an advisor to the Center, which provides training, certification, and educational programming on a host of intellectual property issues for educational professionals around the country.

Salomon will also appear at the annual conference of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). UPCEA is an association for leaders in professional, continuing, and online education, and serves 350 institutions, including most of the leading public and private colleges and universities in North America.

As a member of UPCEA's Industry Advisory Council, Salomon will attend the group's annual conference, held April 3-5 in Boston. The Advisory Council supports the Association's long-standing commitment to fostering meaningful interaction among all members of the higher education community.
