With the midterm vote fast approaching, the Thompson Coburn Lobbying & Policy group will take a close look at possible election outcomes at an upcoming webinar on October 1.

The webinar, “The Midterm Elections: Who Will Win, Who Will Control Congress and the 2016 Presidential Race,” will provide an overview of what to expect on an action-packed election night.

Lobbying & Policy chair Ken Salomon will be joined by Jim Ellis, a professional election analyst who has worked in national campaign politics and grassroots issue advocacy since 1978. Ellis currently writes and speaks as a member of the The Ellis Insight, which compiles BallotBoard, Thompson Coburn’s weekly election stats and polls.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Which party will control the Senate
  • Potential Republican gains in the House
  • The status of state governors embroiled in competitive races
  • The issues and attitudes are driving people to the polls
  • Post-election prognostication largely about the 2016 open presidential race

Thompson Coburn Lobbying & Policy will also live-tweet the webinar. Join the conversation by following us at @TCLobbying and using #TCmidterms.
